As General Superintendents, Joseph M. Carney and Michael P. Carney oversee all aspects of a project’s field operations including quality control, coordination of all trades, hiring trade workers, job meeting attendance, scheduling material and equipment deliveries.  Being OSHA safety trained, they are responsible for implementation of Thomas P. Carney, Inc.’s site-specific safety program.  Joe and Mike have been superintendents in the construction business for over 30 years and have accumulated field and industry experience which have put them among an elite class.  They have served as project superintendents on a number of substantive construction projects, directly supervising completion of high percentages of TPC self-performed work, including excavation, site piping, concrete, masonry and interior finishes. Their managerial style demands the strictest discipline while at the same time allowing for extreme depths of patience.  They are 100% results oriented and have yet to be faced with problems they were unable to resolve. 

 

Christopher Carney

Project Superintendent / Estimator

Christopher Carney has been with Thomas P. Carney, Inc. since graduating from Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University in 2004 with a BS in Business Administration; specialization in Management Information Systems.

Christopher was project superintendent for the College of New Jersey Student Apartment Buildings.  Prior, he was assistant superintendent on the Trenton Train Station Renovation project.
